Muffins with Spirulina

These delicious spirulina muffins combine a soft texture with a nutritious twist. Their subtle green colour and slightly sweet flavour make them a unique treat. Perfect for anyone looking for a healthy and tasty snack!

Ingredients:

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 ml sunflower oil
  • 90 ml water
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 5 g spirulina powder

Preparation method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Beat the eggs together with the water and sunflower oil in a large bowl.
  3. Add the sugar and mix well until smooth.
  4. Sift the flour , together with the baking powder and spirulina powder, over the bowl.
  5. Mix the flour mixture into the egg mixture and beat vigorously until fluffy.
  6. Place paper muffin cups in a muffin tin.
  7. Fill the molds 2/3 full with the batter.
  8. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Tip: Let the muffins cool completely before removing them from the tin for best results!

These muffins get a subtle green color and a healthy twist thanks to the addition of spirulina, perfect as a nutritious snack.
